    Reports noted the Sri Lankan Government is currently preparing a draft amendment, legally termed as the 19th Amendment, as an alternative to the 13th Amendment. ).1

    In another development, Sri Lankan Secretary of Defence and Urban Development Ministry Gotabaya Rajapaksa went to China to attend the 9th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in the southern city of Zhuhai. During his visit, Mr. Rajapaksa met with the Chinese Defence Minister General Liang Guanglie on November 11 in Beijing.
