Two people killed in serial blasts in Bahrain

    According to reports, two people were killed and another person was injured in a series of blasts that rocked Bahraini capital Manama on November 5. Bahraini authorities have claimed that at least five homemade explosive devices were detonated. The explosions occurred in Qudhaibiya, a residential and commercial area, and in Adliya, a posh locality in the south of the capital. The Director General of the Capital Governorate police has urged all nationals and expatriates to keep away from suspicious objects for their own safety and to call the police. 1 Meanwhile, the government has strongly condemned the incident and has termed it as an act of terror. Manama Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa has condemned the incidents and has stated that the incident aims to undermine security of the country. 2
