Saudi coastguard captures 15 Iranians while trying to infiltrate in to the Kingdom

  • According to reports, the Saudi coastguard has arrested a group of Iranians who attempted to infiltrate the country by sea near Khafji in the northeastern frontier with Kuwait. Saudi Eastern Province coastguard spokesman Colonel Khalid Al Arqubi stated that 14 Iranians were captured after they were dropped off on the shore by a boat. The driver of the boat was also chased later by the Saudi coast guard. Saudi officials have later confirmed that the boat is Iranian registered and the driver is an Iranian national.1
