According to reports, China has announced that it fully supports the Russian decision to host the leader’s summit of the Group of 20 economies next year. 1
In another development, China and Japan are planning to start vice-ministerial talks in order to overcome the deadlock over the Diaoyu Island row. However observers have concluded that in spite of this the problems will continue to persist. 2
According to a Chinese foreign Ministry spokesperson, Beijing hopes to solve the frontier dispute with New Delhi through friendly negotiations. 3
