China’s New MALE UAVs

  • Reports noted that photographs taken in early October 2009 have revealed two of China’s hitherto unknown medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The new UAVs are believed to have an “endurance of 40 hrs at a maximum altitude of about 26,000 ft” and can carry a 150 kg payload.1
