Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G), Syed Ali Shah Geelani has stated that the people of Kashmir are least interested in the inauguration of power project or railway services. They are thirsty for self-determination only, he emphasised. While addressing media persons in Srinagar on October 10, Geelani said, “The visit of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is of no use or importance for the people of the state. Government of India can not help us by any economic package or by inaugurating power project or railway services but by providing us the right to self determination. The only solution for the betterment of this state is self determination”.
