Nuclear, USA & Europe

The Institute has a long record of engaging Europe and America through Track II activities. This ranges from inviting scholars to holding roundtables and conferences with think-tanks and governmental and non-governmental agencies from these regions. In addition, scholars at the institute have engaged in detailed study of issues ranging from European security and politics to the relationship between terrorism and radical Islam in Europe. Current projects on Europe include a study on Germany and its aspirations in a unipolar world; another examines the rationale for the enlargement of NATO. Indo-US Relations, US domestic issues and their impact on foreign policy making as well as the Indian Diaspora in the United States are among the many issues that are being closely followed by the Institute's scholars.
