    Educational Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Commerce Graduation degree
    • Computer Knowledge of MS- Office, Tally 6.3, DVAT etc. is a must
    • Excellent grasp of English language

    Professional Experience

    • A minimum of a eight years administrative and account handling experience

    Overall Purpose and Role

    • Shall be associated with the accounts wing of the Institute and will support the accounts processes while reporting directly to the Accounts Officer
    • Candidate with requisite work and accounts experience in think tanks, government departments, research institutes or universities are encouraged to apply

    Job Description*

    The job profile inter-alia includes:

    • To manage day to day operations of the accounts department
    • To manage accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash etc.) and receivable through cash /cheque / voucher in a timely manner
    • To establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
    •  To maintain spread sheets for monitoring and analysing accounting data and prepare financial reports
    • Settlement of bills and receipts
    • Supporting the accounts department activities

    • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test at Delhi and will be tested on the basis of their Book Keeping and Accountancy knowledge
    • Shortlisted outstation candidates will be paid AC- III tier rail fare on production of tickets by the shortest route
    • The selected candidates will be expected to join at the earliest
    • The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the positions advertised
    • The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the selection test to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement and other academic achievements
