Nominations are invited for this prestigious award to be conferred on an Indian scholar, journalist or analyst who has made an outstanding contribution in the area of strategic and security studies. Preference will be given to those younger than 50 years of age. The awardee will be selected from among the nominees by a jury of eminent persons constituted by IDSA.

The award which carries a cash amount of Rs.1,00,000/- plus a citation will be conferred on the Foundation Day ceremonial function.

Nominations may be sent in confidence to Director General, IDSA latest by 15^th February 2018 at the following address on a plain paper giving particulars of the nominee, and material/information in support of the recommendation, preferably with examples of outstanding contributions.
